Squash Rules

Starting April 1st 2009 our league will switch to the PAR 11 scoring system (point-a-rally). The main difference is that now a point is awarded for every rally played independent of the serving player. Also instead of playing to 9 points a game lasts until one player reaches 11 points. In the case of a 10-10 a player needs to lead by 2 points to win the game. All other rules remain the same.

PAR 11 has been the standard scoring system at the pro level for some time and it was decided by the US Squash Association to make it the standard for all official tournaments in the US starting this April. Many other countries did the same.
