The Squash Club at HFAC is a self organized club by a group of squash players at the Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club in Hillsboro, Orgeon. Our main mission is to promote the game of squash which includes providing a fun environment for players of all levels and teaching new players the game.
A common barrier for new players is the lack of a regular partner. To address this issue there are round robin type of play times on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening starting around 5:30pm. There is no need to schedule a time with another player just show up and you will find someone to play with. Wednesday evening is more a novice night, but of course not limited to it. There are no particular rules other than having fun and sharing the courts with everyone.
In addition we have been running with great success a monthly squash league for the last 4 years. In our current league we have players of all skill levels. Even if you just started playing this is a perfect way to get to know new players in particular people at your level and improve your game rapidly.
